My main goal is to become a better trader. That’s why I spend a lot of time studying the charts, because I want to understand the language of candlestick patterns—what the candles are actually telling me and what kind of story they are showing through price action.
That’s why I’m willing to wait two or even three days for the right setup. Once I identify an important level, whether it’s on Gold or any other pair, I look for a potential buy or sell opportunity based on the market structure and candlestick confirmation.
When I take a position, I’m comfortable holding it for one or two days if the setup remains valid. I’m not a scalper, so I don’t focus on taking multiple trades throughout the day.
For me, candlesticks have their own language. Just like people around the world speak different languages, the market also communicates through candlesticks and price action. My goal is to understand that language better and become a more disciplined trader.
