Consob Blocks 11 Websites Over Unauthorised Investment Services

1 hour ago BrokersView

Consob has ordered the blocking of 11 websites linked to unauthorised financial activities, including websites offering unauthorised investment services and a site advertising an unauthorised trading platform. The Italian regulator announced the measure as part of its action against unauthorised financial intermediaries.

Websites Targeted by Consob

The blocked websites include Zynerix, Royalassetmanagement, Interactive, Puprime, and Rocketprobit–flintmoor. The listed domains include trading and client-access pages such as zynerix.net, rlassetmanagement.com, interactive-inv.com, puprime.com, and rocketprobit.com.

Consob said the orders cover websites through which unauthorised investment services and activities relating to financial instruments were being carried out, as well as a website advertising an unauthorised trading platform.

Consob Blocking Reaches 1,816 Websites

The latest action brings the total number of websites blocked by Consob since July 2019 to 1,816, including 233 websites related to crypto activities. Consob was granted the authority to order website blocking in July 2019.

For investors, the case highlights the importance of checking whether a company is authorised before using an investment or trading website. Investors should independently verify the operator and regulatory status rather than relying solely on a website, advertisement or trading platform.
