GO Markets Withdrawal Complaint: Korean Investor Reports $25,813.77 USDT Still Unpaid for More Than 15 Months

2 hours ago BrokersView

A Korean investor has complained about GO Markets, claiming a $25,813.77 USDT withdrawal requested on April 23, 2025 remains unpaid more than 15 months later.

According to the investor, the account is held with GO Markets LLC in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). The investor says all requested verification procedures were completed, including video identification, USDT wallet confirmation and full KYC.

Withdrawal Remains Unresolved

The investor claims GO Markets support repeatedly responded with requests to "wait" or said the withdrawal was still being checked, without providing a specific reason or payment date.

The investor also says a screenshot from the broker's client portal showed the account as "Activated," with a $25,813.77 balance and equity, alongside a "Withdraw Funds" button.

The investor further claims that Live Chat stated it could not directly review or process withdrawal requests.

Regulatory Status and Complaints

The investor says GO Markets' regulated entities in Australia and Mauritius confirmed they were not responsible for the account held with the SVG entity.

The complaint was reportedly submitted to ASIC under reference 10119960, while a separate complaint was filed with the SVG FSA.

However, these claims have not been independently verified. A customer complaint or mediation case does not itself establish regulatory wrongdoing.

Investor Risk Reminder

This complaint highlights several issues investors should consider before depositing with an offshore brokerage entity, particularly when using cryptocurrency:

Confirm the exact legal entity holding your account, rather than relying only on the broker's brand name.

Check the entity's regulatory status directly through the relevant regulator.

Understand whether your account is covered by the protections associated with a regulated entity.

Keep records of deposits, withdrawals, KYC documents, account statements and communications.

If a withdrawal is delayed, request a written explanation and the specific contractual or regulatory basis for the restriction.
