Thailand SEC Warns Against CXM Direct and Impersonation Accounts

2 hours ago BrokersView

Thailand SEC has flagged CXM direct as an unlicensed digital asset and securities business, while several social media accounts were also listed for impersonating regulated institutions.

Thailand SEC Flags CXM direct

The Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Investor Alert database lists CXM direct under both “Unlicensed digital asset business” and “Unlicensed securities and derivatives business.” Its listed websites include cxmdirect.com/th/ and a YouTube channel under the CXM Direct name.

The records were updated on September 14, 2026, making CXM direct particularly relevant to investors searching for forex, CFD and digital asset platforms.

Impersonation Risks Also Highlighted

The same update includes a Facebook page named “Stock Exchange of Thailand”, a TikTok account using “tisco.official” to impersonate TISCO Securities, and th-set.net, which uses the SET Thailand name.

These cases highlight a separate risk: clone or impersonation platforms can use familiar financial brands to create misleading impressions of legitimacy.

What Investors Should Check

Investors should verify the legal entity, licence status, official domain and regulator records before depositing funds or opening an account. A familiar brand name or social media profile alone does not establish regulatory authorisation.
