The Euro traded broadly unchanged against the British Pound on Tuesday, holding onto Monday's gains as investors remained cautious amid limited economic data and lingering geopolitical uncertainty. EUR/GBP hovered just below the 0.8570 level after rebounding from last week's low near 0.8542.

Market sentiment remained cautiously constructive after a second consecutive day without major military exchanges between the United States and Iran. However, hopes for a lasting diplomatic breakthrough remained fragile. US President Donald Trump described the current negotiations as Iran's final opportunity to reach an agreement, while Iranian officials denied that any direct talks with Washington were taking place. EUR/GBP is pausing after its recovery from the July lows, with price now holding above the 0.8555 support zone following a successful breakout and retest. Buyers continue to defend this area, suggesting the recent pullback is more likely a consolidation than a reversal.

The next hurdle sits around 0.8645-0.8658, where previous selling pressure emerged. A decisive move through this resistance would confirm fresh bullish momentum and open the door for an advance toward the 0.8665-0.8670 region.

A loss of 0.8555 would shift the near-term picture, exposing 0.8510 as the next key support. A sustained break beneath that level would invalidate the current recovery and increase the risk of a move back toward the July lows.

Price action continues to favour buyers, with higher lows remaining intact and the market respecting former resistance as new support. Unless that structure breaks, dips are likely to continue attracting buying interest.
