Zhongsheng Pharma Gets China Nod for Two Eye Drops Products

Chinese drug authorities approved Guangdong Zhongsheng Pharmaceutical's cyclosporine eye drops and compound tropicamide eye drops, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Cyclosporine is indicated for severe vernal keratoconjunctivitis in children and adolescents aged 4 years and above, the filing said.
It is also approved for conjunctivitis and dry eye conditions, the filing said.
Tropicamide is indicated for mydriasis or pupil dilation and is used for screening for diseases of the fundus or the back part of the eye and also for myopia or nearsightedness, as well as prevention and treatment of pseudomyopia, the filing said.
