Shanghai Yongmaotai Automotive Technology plans to invest 450 million yuan to construct an intelligent manufacturing base for automotive components in Mexico, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
The Chinese motor vehicle parts manufacturer will invest and construct the Mexican production base through its Singaporean subsidiaries, Yongmaotai and Yongmaotai Automotive Technology.
A Mexican subsidiary, Yongmaotai Automotive Components, will also be established to manage the production base. The planned subsidiary will have a registered capital of $1 million.
