          Investing.com – U.S. stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.

          At the close in NYSE, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.17%, while the S&P 500 index declined 0.06%, and the NASDAQ Composite index fell 0.06%.

          The best performers of the session on the Dow Jones Industrial Average were International Business Machines (NYSE:IBM), which rose 2.59% or 7.72 points to trade at 305.67 at the close. Meanwhile, American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) added 2.09% or 7.48 points to end at 364.85 and Honeywell International Inc (NASDAQ:HON) was up 2.06% or 4.44 points to 219.46 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were Salesforce Inc (NYSE:CRM), which fell 2.76% or 6.45 points to trade at 227.08 at the close. Unitedhealth Group (NYSE:UNH) declined 2.34% or 7.94 points to end at 331.02 and Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) was down 1.95% or 2.21 points to 111.20.

          The top performers on the S&P 500 were Super Micro Computer Inc (NASDAQ:SMCI) which rose 11.01% to 32.66, Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MU) which was up 7.78% to settle at 362.83 and Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:MRNA) which gained 6.26% to close at 41.83.

          The worst performers were Constellation Energy Corp (NASDAQ:CEG) which was down 9.76% to 307.89 in late trade, Vistra Energy Corp (NYSE:VST) which lost 7.54% to settle at 166.60 and Amcor (NYSE:AMCR) which was down 7.29% to 40.94 at the close.

          The top performers on the NASDAQ Composite were Venus Concept Inc (NASDAQ:VERO) which rose 451.89% to 7.89, Jeffs Brands Ltd Unit (NASDAQ:JFBR) which was up 131.16% to settle at 1.29 and Jaguar Health Inc (NASDAQ:JAGX) which gained 87.05% to close at 1.43.

          The worst performers were ECD Automotive Design Inc (OTC:ECDA) which was down 93.51% to 0.02 in late trade, TryHard Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:THH) which lost 87.37% to settle at 0.96 and Springview Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:SPHL) which was down 57.32% to 7.43 at the close.

          Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the New York Stock Exchange by 1537 to 1171 and 110 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 1917 fell and 1393 advanced, while 205 ended unchanged.

          Shares in Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MU) rose to all time highs; up 7.78% or 26.20 to 362.83. Shares in ECD Automotive Design Inc (OTC:ECDA) fell to all time lows; down 93.51% or 0.22 to 0.02. Shares in TryHard Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:THH) fell to all time lows; losing 87.37% or 6.64 to 0.96.

          The CBOE Volatility Index, which measures the implied volatility of S&P 500 options, was up 0.13% to 15.86.

          Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.58% or 26.99 to $4,596.71 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.37% or 0.22 to hit $59.41 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 0.52% or 0.33 to trade at $64.09 a barrel.

          EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.16, while USD/JPY fell 0.35% to 158.09.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 99.17.

          Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services and Consumer Staples sectors led shares higher.

          At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC rose 0.82%.

          The best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC were America Movil SAB de CV M (BMV:AMXB), which rose 3.02% or 0.53 points to trade at 18.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (BMV:OMAB) added 2.79% or 6.54 points to end at 240.99 and Grupo Financiero Banorte (BMV:GFNORTEO) was up 2.41% or 4.34 points to 184.38 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were Controladora Vuela Compania de Aviacion SAB de CV (BMV:VOLARA), which fell 2.04% or 0.32 points to trade at 15.40 at the close. Wal Mart de Mexico SAB de CV (BMV:WALMEX) declined 1.70% or 1.00 points to end at 57.89 and Coca-Cola Femsa SAB de CV (BMV:KOFUBL) was down 1.67% or 2.98 points to 175.18.

          Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 121 to 113 and 13 ended unchanged.

          Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.57% or 26.26 to $4,597.44 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.37% or 0.22 to hit $59.41 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 0.50% or 0.32 to trade at $64.08 a barrel.

          USD/MXN was down 0.10% to 17.63, while EUR/MXN fell 0.13% to 20.45.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 99.17.

          At the close in Toronto, the S&P/TSX Composite added 0.04% to hit a new all time high.

          The best performers of the session on the S&P/TSX Composite were MDA Ltd (TSX:MDA), which rose 14.52% or 4.60 points to trade at 36.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Silvercorp Metals Inc (TSX:SVM) added 10.92% or 1.55 points to end at 15.74 and Discovery Silver Corp (TSX:DSV) was up 7.04% or 0.64 points to 9.73 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were Capital Power Corporation (TSX:CPX), which fell 6.56% or 4.02 points to trade at 57.22 at the close. Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd (TSX:FFH) declined 5.21% or 133.83 points to end at 2,436.42 and Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (TSX:IVN) was down 4.38% or 0.72 points to 15.70.

          Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Toronto Stock Exchange by 496 to 474 and 72 ended unchanged.

          Shares in Silvercorp Metals Inc (TSX:SVM) rose to all time highs; gaining 10.92% or 1.55 to 15.74. Shares in Discovery Silver Corp (TSX:DSV) rose to 5-year highs; up 7.04% or 0.64 to 9.73.

          The S&P/TSX 60 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of S&P/TSX Composite options, was up 0.39% to 13.02.

          Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.59% or 27.51 to $4,596.19 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.41% or 0.24 to hit $59.43 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 0.55% or 0.35 to trade at $64.11 a barrel.

          CAD/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 0.72, while CAD/EUR unchanged 0.11% to 0.62.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 99.17.

          Agomab (AGMB) has filed for a proposed Nasdaq IPO.

          The company describes itself as: "We are a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel disease-modifying therapies for immunology and inflammatory diseases, with an initial focus on chronic fibrotic indications with high unmet medical need. Our product candidates are designed to target established pathways and utilize validated modalities with the aim of increasing efficacy while avoiding systemic toxicities in order to overcome the limitations of prior therapeutic approaches. Our initial focus for the treatment of fibrosis is through inhibition of one of the key signaling pathways involved in fibrosis, the transforming growth factor β, or TGFβ, pathway. Our mission is to develop disease-modifying therapeutics that aim to resolve fibrosis and restore organ function to enable patients with these disorders to live fuller and healthier lives."

          J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Leerink Partners, and Van Lanschot Kempen will serve as underwriters.

          Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

          At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 2.53% to hit a new all time high.

          The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 5.69% or 16,140.00 points to trade at 300,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 2.13% or 240.00 points to end at 11,520.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) was up 1.65% or 35.00 points to 2,160.00 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p), which fell 0.53% or 140.00 points to trade at 26,040.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) declined 0.32% or 60.00 points to end at 18,920.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was down 0.24% or 220.00 points to 90,000.00.

          Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.

          Shares in Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) rose to all time highs; up 5.69% or 16,140.00 to 300,000.00. Shares in Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) rose to 5-year highs; rising 2.13% or 240.00 to 11,520.00.

          US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.84% or 3.00 to $355.10 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 2.46% or 122.00 to hit $5,088.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.58% or 26.91 to trade at $4,596.79 a troy ounce.

          USD/COP was up 0.15% to 3,694.66, while BRL/COP rose 0.16% to 687.70.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 99.17.

          Google Explores Fiber Asset Deal With Stonepeak-Backed Radiate: Report

          Alphabet’s (GOOG) Google is reportedly exploring a joint venture with broadband operator Radiate, backed by Stonepeak Partners, for a fiber assets deal.

          As per a report from Bloomberg that cited people familiar with the matter, the new venture would house Radiate’s Astound as well as Google’s fiber optic Internet service, GFiber.

          While Stonepeak would hold a majority stake in the venture, Google would have the rest of the minority stake, as per the report.

          Stonepeak will funnel about $1 billion in preferred equity to help fund the deal, as per Bloomberg.

          Shares of GOOG closed 0.85% lower on Friday.

          Investing.com – Russia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Power, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.

          At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia Index gained 1.23%.

          The best performers of the session on the MOEX Russia Index were Federal Hydro Generating Company RusHydro PJSC (MCX:HYDR), which rose 2.97% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.42 at the close. Meanwhile, NOVATEK PJSC (MCX:NVTK) added 2.77% or 32.20 points to end at 1,195.00 and PIK SHb PJSC (MCX:PIKK) was up 2.73% or 12.50 points to 471.10 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were TATNEFT n.a. V.D. Shashin (MCX:TATN), which fell 0.59% or 3.30 points to trade at 560.70 at the close. Polyus PJSC (MCX:PLZL) declined 0.37% or 9.40 points to end at 2,560.40 and Transneft PJSC Pref (MCX:TRNF_p) was down 0.33% or 5.00 points to 1,395.00.

          Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 186 to 55 and 12 ended unchanged.

          The Russian Volatility Index – RVI, which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, was down 1.72% to 22.26 a new 52-week low.

          Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.49% or 22.61 to $4,601.09 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.49% or 0.29 to hit $59.48 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 0.61% or 0.39 to trade at $64.15 a barrel.

          USD/RUB was up 0.44% to 78.59, while EUR/RUB fell 0.35% to 90.49.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 99.17.
