Trump Says He Would Not Rule Out Meeting with Iran’s Supreme Leader If a Deal Is Reached

If fragmentation worsens further, global economic losses could reach $6.9 trillion, accounting for 6.4% of global GDP.

The report projects that current industrial fragmentation policies will push global inflation up by 0.2 to 0.3 percentage points and erode household purchasing power. Emerging and developing economies will be particularly hard hit, with output losses potentially reaching as high as 10.7% in an extreme scenario.
