Transocean received a $130 million contract to drill for oil at six wells in Australia using its Deepwater Skyros drillship.

The offshore drilling company said Monday the drilling campaign is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2027 and last about 320 days. The contract includes priced options for the drillship to keep working through early 2030.

Transocean did not disclose who awarded the contract.
