          Norway stocks higher at close of trade; Oslo OBX up 0.22%

          Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

          At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.22% to hit a new all time high.

          The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO), which rose 3.00% or 8.00 points to trade at 274.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Cmb.Tech NV (OL:CMBT) added 2.95% or 3.60 points to end at 125.60 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was up 2.67% or 2.80 points to 107.70 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY), which fell 2.71% or 2.40 points to trade at 86.32 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) declined 1.61% or 2.10 points to end at 128.10 and TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was down 1.46% or 1.50 points to 101.00.

          Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 159 to 92 and 29 ended unchanged.

          Shares in Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.00% or 8.00 to 274.50. Shares in Cmb.Tech NV (OL:CMBT) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.95% or 3.60 to 125.60.

          Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.29% or 0.19 to $65.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.32% or 0.22 to hit $69.81 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 5.17% or 276.99 to trade at $5,077.81 a troy ounce.

          EUR/NOK was up 0.14% to 11.42, while USD/NOK rose 0.75% to 9.60.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 96.65.

          Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

          At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.70% to hit a new all time high.

          The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 3.34% or 18.50 points to trade at 573.00 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 2.50% or 2.50 points to end at 102.50 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) was up 2.35% or 6.50 points to 283.20 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 2.77% or 0.06 points to trade at 2.18 at the close. Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) declined 2.52% or 3.30 points to end at 127.50 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) was down 2.51% or 0.42 points to 16.09.

          Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 134 to 120 and 27 ended unchanged.

          Crude oil for March delivery was up 3.50% or 2.21 to $65.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 3.15% or 2.12 to hit $69.49 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 2.54% or 135.59 to trade at $5,204.61 a troy ounce.

          EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.01% to 11.46, while USD/NOK rose 0.18% to 9.61.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 96.32.

          Norway stocks higher at close of trade; Oslo OBX up 0.85%

          Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

          At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.85%.

          The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which rose 5.86% or 5.30 points to trade at 95.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) added 4.32% or 12.40 points to end at 299.25 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) was up 3.51% or 8.90 points to 262.50 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFG), which fell 3.15% or 9.20 points to trade at 282.80 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) declined 2.83% or 0.47 points to end at 16.13 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was down 1.86% or 3.20 points to 169.20.

          Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 137 to 113 and 33 ended unchanged.

          Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.84% or 1.64 to $59.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.50% or 1.55 to hit $63.54 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.35% or 60.30 to trade at $4,521.00 a troy ounce.

          EUR/NOK was up 0.13% to 11.75, while USD/NOK rose 0.32% to 10.10.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 98.88.

          Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

          At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.66% to hit a new all time high.

          The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which rose 5.72% or 5.00 points to trade at 92.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) added 3.54% or 7.40 points to end at 216.40 and Cmb.Tech NV (OL:CMBT) was up 3.10% or 3.00 points to 99.90 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI), which fell 2.67% or 6.40 points to trade at 233.60 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 2.00% or 12.00 points to end at 587.50 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was down 0.53% or 1.50 points to 279.00.

          Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 159 to 92 and 31 ended unchanged.

          Shares in Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) rose to all time highs; rising 3.54% or 7.40 to 216.40.

          Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.21% or 0.12 to $58.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.15% or 0.09 to hit $61.67 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 32.50 to trade at $4,484.00 a troy ounce.

          EUR/NOK was up 0.11% to 11.75, while USD/NOK rose 0.37% to 10.05.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 98.32.
