HONG KONG, Sep 30 (LPC) – Vietnamese chemical distributor and manufacturer Stavian Chemical has increased its 364-day term loan to US$100m from US$50m after attracting seven banks in general syndication.
Standard Chartered Bank was the mandated lead arranger and bookrunner of the senior secured bullet financing, which offered a top-level all-in pricing of 265p via an interest margin of 205bp over term SOFR. (July 31 story (https://www.loanconnector.com/NewsDisplay/NewsContent...))
Funds are for general corporate and working capital purposes.
Hanoi-headquartered Stavian Chemical was established in 2009 and is part of Vietnamese conglomerate Stavian Group. It is a top biodegradable plastic packaging manufacturer and a global chemical distributor.

HONG KONG, Jul 5 (LPC) – Taiwanese property developer Kuo Cheng Construction has launched a NT$18.1bn (US$558m) seven-year loan to back the construction of an urban renewal project in Tainan city.
First Commercial Bank is the mandated lead arranger and bookrunner of the term loan, which comprises a NT$8.9bn tranche A, a NT$1.1bn tranche B and a NT$8.1bn tranche C.
Tranches A and B offer an interest margin of 75bp over the one-year post office savings rate, while tranche C offers a margin of 66bp over the same benchmark.
Co-arrangers joining with NT$2.715bn or more will receive an upfront fee of 12bp, while arrangers with NT$1.81bn–$2.714bn will earn a 8bp fee.
Managers coming in for NT$905m–$1.80bn will earn a 5bp fee.
Responses are due by August 9.
Kuo Cheng Construction's previous visit to the loan market was in June 2021 for a NT$2.8bn four-year loan.
Taiwan Cooperative Bank was the sole MLAB on that deal, which attracted four banks in general syndication, according to LPC data.
Kuo Cheng Construction develops residential and commercial properties in Taiwan.
