          At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 gained 0.97% to hit a new all time high.

          The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Grifols SA (BME:GRLS), which rose 3.28% or 0.34 points to trade at 10.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Industria de Diseno Textil SA (BME:ITX) added 2.66% or 1.42 points to end at 54.84 and Acciona (BME:ANA) was up 2.46% or 4.20 points to 175.00 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were Redeia Corporacion SA (BME:REDE), which fell 1.44% or 0.22 points to trade at 15.02 at the close. International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (BME:ICAG) declined 1.36% or 0.06 points to end at 4.41 and Bankinter (BME:BKT) was down 1.23% or 0.17 points to 13.65.

          Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 104 to 85 and 23 ended unchanged.

          Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.20% or 8.50 to $4,241.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.42% or 0.84 to hit $59.79 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract rose 1.13% or 0.71 to trade at $63.38 a barrel.

          EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.17, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.87.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 98.91.

          The worst performers were United Internet AG NA (ETR:UTDI) which was down 1.79% to 25.20 in late trade, Siltronic AG (ETR:WAFGn) which lost 0.96% to settle at 49.42 and Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:IFXGn) which was down 0.67% to 36.50 at the close.

          Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.

          At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 rose 0.43%, while the SBF 120 index gained 0.41%.

          The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Renault SA (EPA:RENA), which rose 6.35% or 2.21 points to trade at 37.01 at the close. Meanwhile, Capgemini SE (EPA:CAPP) added 4.16% or 5.70 points to end at 142.70 and Stellantis NV (EPA:STLAM) was up 3.75% or 0.37 points to 10.19 in late trade.

          The worst performers of the session were EssilorLuxottica SA (EPA:ESLX), which fell 1.81% or 5.60 points to trade at 303.20 at the close. Accor SA (EPA:ACCP) declined 1.73% or 0.81 points to end at 46.00 and Sanofi SA (EPA:SASY) was down 1.25% or 1.07 points to 84.57.

          The top performers on the SBF 120 were Renault SA (EPA:RENA) which rose 6.35% to 37.01, Eutelsat Communications SA (EPA:ETL) which was up 4.78% to settle at 2.06 and Capgemini SE (EPA:CAPP) which gained 4.16% to close at 142.70.

          The worst performers were Worldline SA (EPA:WLN) which was down 4.48% to 1.39 in late trade, Clariane SE (EPA:CLARI) which lost 3.86% to settle at 3.69 and Ubisoft Entertainment (EPA:UBIP) which was down 3.83% to 6.28 at the close.

          Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 260 to 218 and 93 ended unchanged.

          Shares in Worldline SA (EPA:WLN) fell to all time lows; down 4.48% or 0.07 to 1.39.

          The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.

          Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.23% or 9.85 to $4,242.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.37% or 0.81 to hit $59.76 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract rose 1.12% or 0.70 to trade at $63.37 a barrel.

          EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.17, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.87.

          The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 98.89.
