Shaanxi Construction Engineering Secures 2.83 Billion Yuan Worth of Contracts in May

Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group won three contracts amounting to 7.88 billion yuan in April, according to a Tuesday disclosure with the Shanghai bourse.

The projects are the renovation of Sanzhao Village and the western area resettlement project of Changlepo Village, both located in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, China, as well as the Jianwangjing housing construction project, the construction and engineering company said.

Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group won three projects worth 22.2 billion yuan as of Wednesday, March 12, according to a same-dated filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Two of the projects are international projects. These are the Saudi Diriyah 200 Villas Project and the Kyrgyzstan STT Road Reconstruction Project, Section IV.

Another project won was Yitai Yili Energy's coal-to-liquid oil demonstration system project, which aims to produce 1 million tons per year, the Chinese construction and engineering company said.

Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group won three major construction projects with contract values exceeding 500 million yuan in January.

The largest of these is the Shenlufang urban village renovation residential resettlement project for 1.93 billion yuan, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The other two were the phase three supporting tank area project for 750 million yuan. and the Handan city central heating project for 510 million yuan.

Shares of the construction and engineering company rose nearly 1% in recent trade.

Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group said it would acquire minority stakes in its subsidiaries, Shaanxi First Construction Group and Shaanxi Construction Machinery Group, from Agricultural Bank of China Financial Asset Investment for 502.4 million yuan, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai Bourse.

Shaanxi JG also plans to buy shares in Shaanxi Fifth Construction Group and Shaanxi Construction Installation Group from Shaanxi Financial Asset Management for 402.5 million yuan. The transactions, signed on Jan. 21, do not require shareholder approval.

Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group signed 27 contracts with values exceeding 500 million yuan from October 2024 to December 2024.

The largest of these were the 2.50-billion-yuan pharmaceutical intermediate project for Heilongjiang Huarui Biotechnology and the 2.03-billion-yuan general contracting for the third phase of a 5G communication tower and ancillary project, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

For 2024, the company and its subsidiaries signed 2,965 contracts, with a total value of 346.9 billion yuan.
