Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which rose 1.43% or 0.24 points to trade at 16.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) added 1.13% or 1.80 points to end at 161.50 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 0.65% or 2.40 points to 372.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO), which fell 5.01% or 10.20 points to trade at 193.20 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) declined 4.22% or 3.80 points to end at 86.20 and Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) was down 3.84% or 2.22 points to 55.62.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 173 to 83 and 37 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.14% or 0.09 to $63.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.20% or 0.13 to hit $66.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.47% or 86.15 to trade at $3,405.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.48% to 11.88, while USD/NOK fell 0.12% to 10.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 98.45.
