Ningbo Sanxing Medical Electric's Brazil-based unit, Nansen Instrumentos de Precisão, won the bid for a transformer procurement framework contract for 263.3 million Brazilian reals, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.

Under the deal, the Chinese smart metering products manufacturer will provide oil-immersed transformers to electric company CPFL Energia.

Ningbo Sanxing Medical Electric's unit, Ningbo AUX Intelligent Technology, was recommended as a winning candidate in the State Grid Corporation of China's procurement bids totaling 143.4 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.

The bids are for 10-kilovolt transformers and 10kV pole-mounted transformers in East China, which amounted to 123.2 million yuan and 20.1 million yuan, respectively, the Chinese smart metering services provider said.
