Milkyway Chemical Supply Chain Shareholders to Pare Stake

Three of Milkyway Chemical Supply Chain Service's shareholders plan to reduce their equity interests in the company to fund their capital needs, according to a Wednesday disclosure with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Shanghai Yanruo Investment Partnership will dispose of up to 1.4 million shares or 0.91% of the company's share capital, Shanghai Yanzhi Investment Partnership will divest 976,500 shares or 0.62%, and Shanghai Yanhui Investment Partnership will offload 750,300 shares or 0.47%.

Currently, Yanruo owns 5.9 million shares or 3.76%, while Yanzhi holds around 4 million shares or 2.55%, and Yanhui owns about 3.8 million shares or 2.4%.

The disposal will be conducted between June 6 and Sept. 5, the Chinese chemical supply chain service company said.

The company's shares fell 2% in recent trade.

Milkyway Chemical Supply Chain Service , through unit Milkyway Shipping, plans to acquire four newly built general cargo vessels from Pusheng Shipping (Hong Kong), according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange disclosure on Tuesday.

Each ship, which weighs 62,000 deadweight tonnage, will be delivered between 2025 and 2026, the Chinese chemical supply chain service company said.

The company's shares dropped less than 4% in recent trade.
