          LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Lloyds Banking Group PLC (LYG, LLOY.L, LLD.DE) said on Wednesday that it has appointed Peter Fitzgerald as Chief Investment Officer. Fitzgerald will succeed Kevin Doran, who will leave the Group early next year.

          Peter will join Lloyds Banking from Aviva Investors, where he served as Chief Investment Officer, Multi-Asset & Macro, leading a team managing over £100 billion in assets.

          £1.7 BILLION SHARE BUYBACK PROGRAMME

          Following the purchase of ordinary shares on 8th December 2025, Lloyds Banking Group plc (the "Company") announces that the Company's share buyback programme announced on 21 February 2025 was completed in accordance with its terms. The programme was managed by Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc. In aggregate between 21 February 2025 and 8th December 2025, the Company repurchased 2,204,109,740 ordinary shares for an aggregate consideration of £1.7bn.

          Lloyds Banking Group plc (the "Company") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares, from Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc (the "Broker").

          Ordinary Shares

          Number of ordinary shares purchased: 9,975,490

          Highest price paid per share (pence): 95.9200

          Lowest price paid per share (pence): 95.0600

          Volume weighted average price paid per share (pence): 95.4634

          Such purchases form part of the Company's existing share buyback programme and were effected pursuant to the instructions issued to the Broker by the Company on 20 February 2025, as announced on 21 February 2025.

          The Company intends to cancel these shares.

          TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SECURITIES

          Lloyds Banking Group plc (the "Company") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares, from Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc (the "Broker").

          Ordinary Shares

          Date of purchases: 05 December 2025

          Number of ordinary shares purchased: 9,771,583

          Highest price paid per share (pence): 97.4000

          Lowest price paid per share (pence): 95.8400

          Volume weighted average price paid per share (pence): 96.5735

          Such purchases form part of the Company's existing share buyback programme and were effected pursuant to the instructions issued to the Broker by the Company on 20 February 2025, as announced on 21 February 2025.

          The Company intends to cancel these shares.
