Huluwa Pharmaceutical Gets Approval to Amend Cefotaxime Sodium for Injection's Information

Hainan Huluwa Pharmaceutical Group obtained the drug registration certificate for Cefprozil for oral suspension from China's National Medical Products Administration, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.

The drug was originally developed by Bristol-Myers Squibb to treat mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

The Chinese pharmaceutical company invested 4.9 million yuan into the research and development of the drug, the filing said.

The company's shares rose over 2% in recent trade.

Hainan Huluwa Pharmaceutical Group received approval from the Chinese drug administration to begin clinical trials on Feire Kechuan Granules, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Thursday.

The Chinese pharmaceutical company will test the traditional Chinese medicine's new formula, which was expanded to include the treatment of heat toxins in lungs caused by influenza.

The company's shares dropped over 3% in recent trade.
