Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.18% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Indopoly Swakarsa Industry Tbk (JK:IPOL), which rose 34.95% or 36.00 points to trade at 139.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Surya Permata Andalan Tbk PT (JK:NATO) added 34.48% or 60.00 points to end at 234.00 and Triniti Dinamik PT Tbk (JK:TRUE) was up 34.12% or 58.00 points to 228.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Martina Berto Tbk (JK:MBTO), which fell 9.62% or 20.00 points to trade at 188.00 at the close. Megapower Makmur TBK PT (JK:MPOW) declined 8.76% or 12.00 points to end at 125.00 and Hensel Davest Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:HDIT) was down 8.08% or 8.00 points to 91.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 355 to 341 and 145 ended unchanged.
Shares in Surya Permata Andalan Tbk PT (JK:NATO) rose to 52-week highs; up 34.48% or 60.00 to 234.00. Shares in Triniti Dinamik PT Tbk (JK:TRUE) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 34.12% or 58.00 to 228.00.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.37% or 0.22 to $59.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.21% or 0.13 to hit $62.80 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 11.20 to trade at $4,221.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.14% to 16,638.30, while AUD/IDR rose 0.39% to 11,009.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 98.78.
