Guangdong Construction Engineering Gets Filing Approval for Clean Energy Project

Guangdong Construction Engineering completed the installation of 24.108 megawatts of power across four projects, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

Guangdong Zhengui Grain's roof photovoltaic project completed the installation of 0.558 megawatts of power while that of the Chao'an Grain Reserve Center completed 2.35 megawatts, the filing said.

The distributed photovoltaic storage and hydrogenation integration project in Xinjiang, constructed by subsidiary Guangdong Hydropower Second Bureau Group, saw the 5 megawatts fully connected, the filing said.

The 120-megawatt photovoltaic power generation project in Luoshi, Hunan, China, saw 16.2 megawatts connected to the grid, the filing said.

Guangdong Construction Engineering Group subsidiary Guangdong Yue Hydropower Energy Investment will acquire five photovoltaic power project companies for 470.9 million yuan, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

The companies, Suixi Yongrui Modern Agriculture Technology, Suixi Yonghui New Energy Technology, Fuyang Yongming Agricultural Solar Power, Jiangsu Feizhan Energy Technology, and Lianyungang Linyang New Energy, will be acquired from the subsidiaries of Jiangsu Linyang Energy.

The purchase includes nine ground-based solar projects with nearly 250-megawatt-peak in DC capacity.

Shares of the engineering company closed 1% higher Tuesday.

Guangdong Construction Engineering Group won the bid for energy storage projects in Nagqu City, China, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Friday.

The projects are a 100-megawatt photovoltaic with a grid-connected energy storage, 150MW solar thermal with 1,200MW integrated new energy generation and the section 2 of a 150MW solar thermal with 1,200MW integrated new energy storage, the Chinese infrastructure construction services provider said.

The company's shares rose over 1% in recent trade.

A consortium comprising Guangdong Construction Engineering signed a 1.59 billion yuan contract to renovate a village in Kuichong, Dapeng New District, Shenzhen.

The project will have a total construction area of approximately 372,766.90 square meters and will be carried out within 877 days, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Thursday.

The Chinese engineering company will build four industrial plants, one industrial exhibit center, 1 research and development office building, as well as dormitory buildings, within 578 days. The project will have a total construction area of about 189,300 square meters, the disclosure said.
