Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 12.00% or 15,990.00 points to trade at 149,190.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 1.77% or 73.00 points to end at 4,188.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was up 0.59% or 60.00 points to 10,160.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which fell 6.79% or 40.70 points to trade at 559.10 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 5.58% or 4,260.00 points to end at 72,110.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 4.62% or 9,180.00 points to 189,510.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 338 to 116 and 84 ended unchanged.
Shares in Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) rose to all time highs; gaining 12.00% or 15,990.00 to 149,190.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.37% or 0.25 to $67.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.27% or 0.19 to hit $70.88 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.11% or 33.29 to trade at $3,039.39 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.69% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.77% to 4.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 103.01.
