Eli Lilly said Tuesday it has agreed to acquire Verve Therapeutics for up to $1.3 billion in an effort to advance its gene-editing therapies for cardiovascular disease. T-Mobile US shareholder SoftBank raised about $4.8 billion from the sale of 21.5 million shares of the wireless company at $224 apiece, according to media reports. The shares were offered in a price range of $224 to $228 each, Reuters reported, citing a term sheet. T-Mobile shares were down 3.9%.
