Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Cibest SA (BVC:CIBEST), which rose 3.40% or 2,200.00 points to trade at 67,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) added 3.28% or 1,940.00 points to end at 61,060.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) was up 1.79% or 300.00 points to 17,100.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which fell 1.21% or 3,180.00 points to trade at 259,800.00 at the close. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) declined 1.03% or 160.00 points to end at 15,420.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) was down 0.73% or 80.00 points to 10,860.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.

US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.19% or 0.70 to $372.75 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.04% or 57.00 to hit $5,512.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 17.70 to trade at $4,238.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.24% to 3,770.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.89% to 711.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 98.86.
