Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Insurance, Communication and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 5.23% or 2,090.00 points to trade at 42,050.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 3.81% or 287.00 points to end at 7,813.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 2.52% or 930.00 points to 37,830.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Menora Miv Hld (TASE:MMHD), which fell 3.54% or 1,400.00 points to trade at 38,200.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 3.24% or 1,520.00 points to end at 45,450.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 3.06% or 80.00 points to 2,537.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 336 to 133 and 78 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.12% or 0.07 to $60.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $64.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.84% or 87.84 to trade at $4,853.64 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.50% to 3.15, while EUR/ILS fell 0.67% to 3.69.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 98.46.
