Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were PT Buana Artha Anugerah Tbk (JK:STAR), which rose 34.78% or 48.00 points to trade at 186.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Red Planet Indonesia Tbk (JK:PSKT) added 34.34% or 68.00 points to end at 266.00 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) was up 34.07% or 31.00 points to 122.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bhakti Multi Artha Pt (JK:BHAT), which fell 14.89% or 265.00 points to trade at 1,515.00 at the close. Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) declined 14.86% or 33.00 points to end at 189.00 and Sinergi Inti Plastindo (JK:ESIP) was down 14.39% or 19.00 points to 113.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 407 to 281 and 164 ended unchanged.
Shares in PT Buana Artha Anugerah Tbk (JK:STAR) rose to 5-year highs; rising 34.78% or 48.00 to 186.00. Shares in Red Planet Indonesia Tbk (JK:PSKT) rose to 5-year highs; up 34.34% or 68.00 to 266.00. Shares in Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 34.07% or 31.00 to 122.00.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.08% or 0.05 to $59.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.30% or 0.19 to hit $63.06 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.76% or 31.70 to trade at $4,221.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.66% to 16,705.90, while AUD/IDR fell 0.02% to 10,862.40.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 99.66.
