Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 5.55% or 4,750.00 points to trade at 90,300.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 4.39% or 1,400.00 points to end at 33,300.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 2.89% or 450.00 points to 16,000.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd (TASE:CLIS), which fell 3.28% or 570.00 points to trade at 16,830.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 1.32% or 400.00 points to end at 29,850.00 and Dimri (TASE:DIMRI) was down 1.11% or 420.00 points to 37,400.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 251 to 205 and 85 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.04% or 1.33 to $66.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.05% or 1.39 to hit $69.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.85% or 28.90 to trade at $3,363.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.19% to 3.35, while EUR/ILS fell 1.01% to 3.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.70% at 98.08.
