@SlowBear ⛅Since COT is essentially a historical record of positioning, we need to interpret it in context and correlate it with other confirmation signals rather than use it in isolation. My question is, how useful do you consider COT data for short-term or intraday trading, given that the reports are primarily backward-looking and seem more suited to identifying longer-term trends? For example, can COT positioning help us anticipate a shorter-term move in XAUUSD, or should we primarily use it to establish a higher-timeframe directional bias and then rely on price structure, OI, liquidity, and order flow for the actual trade entry?

@Anees Ur RThe consequent changes in the filing, meanig the long and short contract as they are released on the weekly basis can not really be intepreated in the chart on a SHORT-TERM basis, cos the importance of COT is in the long term accumulations and effect is mostly lagging for short term trader
