Failing to reclaim this level will limit gold's short-term rebound potential.

Indicators-wise, within the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo system, the Tenkan-sen (red line: 4546.595) has crossed below the Kijun-sen (blue line: 4483.890) to form a death cross while sloping downward, signaling robust bearish dominance. Candlesticks are trading below the cloud, and the Chikou Span (green line) has crossed below the price action, confirming the short-term downtrend.

On the ADX indicator, the ADX line sits at 21.67, ticking down from higher levels, while -DI (19.25) remains above +DI (14.29). This shows that bears retain control, though downside momentum has moderated compared to the initial plunge, suggesting the market may enter a period of range-bound base-building or technical consolidation.
