The Ibovespa gained over 0.5% to trade above 159,500 on Tuesday, as bets of an incoming Fed rate cut continued to underpin global equities, while markets assessed local corporate news.

Investors also monitored Vale’s Investor Day for updates on investment and production guidance.

Vale shares edged up as it rose it's 2026 iron ore output estimate.

Ambipar, in judicial restructuring, was steady after confirming the dismissal of 35 directors and managers over serious governance and control failures.

Brava gained over 1.5% after its Level 1 ADR program was declared effective by the SEC, under the ticker BVENY US. Smartfit also advanced nearly 1% after announcing plans to acquire control of Evolve.

Elsewhere, Petrobras gained 0.3% despite softer oil prices, Ambev added 0.5%, and major banks traded higher.
