Is PPLI a scam broker?

PPLI (PPL International Limited) has been identified by our investigation as a suspected fraudulent broker.

The platform claims to be regulated by the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority (AOFA) and the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC). While we did locate a matching entry for PPLI in AOFA’s registry, it is critical to note that AOFA is an offshore authority with minimal regulatory standards and very low international recognition. Importantly, AOFA does not publish the official websites of its licensed entities, making it impossible to verify whether the PPLI trading platform is genuinely linked to the listed company. As such, this AOFA regulation cannot be considered credible evidence of compliance or legitimacy.

Furthermore, although PPLI also appears in SERC’s records, SERC does not have the legal authority to regulate forex trading activities in Cambodia. Therefore, any registration with SERC does not confer a valid license to operate as a forex broker, nor does it offer investor protection.

Given the lack of meaningful oversight, we conclude that PPLI exhibits strong indicators of being a fraudulent trading operation. We strongly advise you to avoid any financial engagement with PPLI to protect yourself from potential loss of funds.
