ANSWER Dear Investor, CMS Prime claims to be operated by CMS Prime Ltd, which is authorised by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) in Mauritius. A search of the FSC's licensing register does show a matching company. However, the FSC does not publicly disclose the domain names or websites of its licensees, which makes it difficult to verify whether the firm in question is genuinely linked to the licensed entity. Please also note that the Mauritius FSC is considered an offshore regulator with relatively lenient oversight and limited investor protection. This means that holding an FSC licence alone does not provide comprehensive safeguards for your investments. Therefore, we recommend that you exercise caution when dealing with this broker. Be sure to conduct thorough due diligence before deciding to invest.

ANSWER CMS Prime is a brand of CMS Group, a group that has subsidies authorized and regualted by multiple regulatory bodies.Capital Market SolutionsInc is registered in the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Service Authority (SVG FSA) and the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) with the number: 40437.CMS Securities Ltd is regulated by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (Mauritius FSC).Although this broker is registered and regulated by the above regulatory bodies. But please be informed that SVG FSA does not regulate entities that offer forex activities. Besides, VFSC is a popular offshore regulator among forex brokers as capital (or bond) requirements are relatively small. A Forex license covering the online activities of a brokerage is issued in 2-3 months, which is indeed extremely fast. Moreover, there is no income tax, capital gains tax, or inheritance tax in the country. So VFSC-regulated brokers are actually not under as strong regulation as FCA, ASIC and NFA regulated brokers. As for the regulation in Mauritius FSC. As this regulator provides neither authentication details nor domains of the registered company for traders to verify. Consequently, it is not a hundred percent sure that the licensed entity is the one that runs the business under the trading name CMS Securities Ltd. We would recommend exercising caution when dealing with this entity.
