@Lonewolve There are multiple downside to this approach cos when you are trading with different brkers there is always difference in thei contractr size and that is alwasy a challenge with higly volatile assets but on fx major it might work

@PràìśèYes, that's exactly right. That's exactly right. If your risk percentage is fixed, your stop loss may vary, but what you are risking for every single trade will remain the same. The amount you're risking will remain the same. So you see, it's a much better risk management strategy to use a fixed risk percentage than to use a fixed lot size.

@Lonewolvehumm, really? never see it that way, so if you are risking 20pips on GU using 0.05, after the calculation you get $50, you mean if i use the same 0.1 on UJ with the same pip i will get the same result in $

@DaveI don't know for sure, that is not exactly what I'm asking about. I thought we were talking about the variableness of lot sizes, but then I asked what should be fixed if lot sizes shouldn't be fixed.

@Lonewolve but calculationg Pips value in $$ (cash) is a whole different thing, which requires traders, to unders Leverage and few other things like contract size and the pip difference.

@Lonewolveand be sure to pay attention to the fourth decimal number. If your broker gives you five decimal numbers on the major pairs, focus on the fourth one because the fifth one is a pipette.
