Inflasi Zona Euro turun ke 2,8% di Juni (lebih rendah dari perkiraan 3,0%), sehingga pasar menduga ECB kemungkinan hanya akan menaikkan suku bunga sedikit lagi atau bahkan berhenti dulu setelah kenaikan Juni ke 2,25% . Sinyal dari pejabat ECB juga terlihat tidak terlalu agresif, sehingga imbal hasil aset euro kurang menarik.
