@oyihsefxEven a large buyer can create short-term volatility, but the gold market is massive and driven by factors like interest rates, central bank demand, inflation expectations, and overall risk sentiment.

soo I see on the 1H TF sellers have losen control and prices were traded at discount soo prices rejects clearly from downside and now currently market will be choppy because there is a POC where market will like to trade on. 4316 and 4343 would be level where market will most likely to trade and cvd is bullish right now. soo on my opinion wait until any of those two level will be broken and market will be unbalanced

UK retail sales unexpectedly stalled in March as price-conscious shoppers reduced spending on food and at department stores. According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the volume of goods sold remained unchanged in March, following a revised 0.1% gain the previous month, falling short of economists' expectations of a 0.3% increase.
These figures reflect a lackluster recovery from last year's recession, with consumers still grappling with a cost-of-living crisis that has resulted in higher prices for essential goods. Despite rapid wage growth and anticipated interest rate reductions by the Bank of England (BOE), the positive effects have yet to fully impact consumers' finances.
Retail sales in the first quarter grew by 1.9%, contributing 0.09 percentage points to GDP during the period, according to the ONS. However, this modest growth underscores the challenges faced by the retail sector amid ongoing economic uncertainty.
The retail landscape was further impacted by adverse weather conditions, including heavy rainfall in March, which followed the wettest February on record. Retailers cited more typical spending patterns compared to the previous disrupted years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Large ticket items such as furniture continued to perform poorly, reflecting restrained consumer spending amid the high cost of living. Footwear sales were also affected by the adverse weather conditions, further dampening retail activity.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is banking on a "feel-good factor" stemming from higher living standards to bolster consumer confidence ahead of an anticipated general election later this year. However, the challenges facing the retail sector, compounded by ongoing economic pressures, pose significant hurdles to achieving sustained growth.
From a technical standpoint, the stagnation in retail sales underscores the delicate balance between consumer confidence, purchasing power, and external factors such as inflation and interest rates. The BOE's expected interest rate cuts later this year could provide some relief to consumers, potentially stimulating spending and economic activity. However, the full impact of these measures remains uncertain, particularly in the face of persistent inflationary pressures.

TECHNICAL VIEWPOINTBreaking Below Demand Point: Shift in Bias for GBPCAD_1

          GBPCAD 4 HOUR CHART

The GBPCAD has recently broken below a significant trendline and retested it, subsequently falling below a crucial demand interest point. Sellers are now eyeing a target around the 1.6990 level, anticipating further downward movement before potential intervention by buyers. Following the breakdown of the demand zone, a retracement is anticipated, likely around the 1.71500 level, presenting an opportunity for sellers to execute orders with a stop-loss set at 1.7200.
The recent retail sales report has reinforced the bearish sentiment surrounding the pound, providing an advantage to sellers. However, actualization of this advantage depends on the fulfillment of sellers' orders. Placing sell limits around the anticipated retracement area or waiting for confirmation of bearish momentum before entering market orders may offer strategic advantages to traders.
From a technical perspective, the break below the trendline and subsequent retest suggest a weakening of bullish momentum and a shift towards a more bearish outlook for the GBPCAD pair. The breach of the demand interest point further confirms this bearish bias, signaling potential opportunities for sellers to capitalize on downward price movements.
The GBPCAD pair has undergone significant technical developments, with a break below key levels indicating a potential shift in market dynamics. Traders should carefully monitor price action and consider strategic entry and exit points to capitalize on potential selling opportunities. However, prudent risk management measures, such as setting appropriate stop-loss levels, are essential to mitigate potential losses in volatile market conditions.

          TRADE RECOMMENDATION

          SELL GBPCAD
