ANSWER IQcent is an unlicensed broker and should be avoided at all events. IQcent claims to be operated by Wave Makers LTD, a regulated firm by the Marshall Islands Registry (IRI). However, Marshall IRI is not a government agency, nor is it a regulatory agency.That is to say, IQcent is not regulated by any financial regulator. What's worse, the Spain CNMV and Portuguese CMVM have successively added IQcent to the alert lists to warn the public that this firm is not authorised to provide the investment services in their countries. You can check the full alert or warning from CNMV and CMVM on IQcent respectively.As per the evidences above, our conclusion is that IQcent is thoroughly a scam on account of running its business without any licenses. Therefore, we would recommend traders stay away from unregulated brokers and trade with licensed brokers.

ANSWER IQcent is not a licensed or regulated broker even though it states offers that look good to be true. IQcent claims it is owned and operated by Wave Makers LTD, a company regulated by the Marshall Islands Registry (IRI). We do find a match result to Wave Makers LTD in IRI, but the registration status is annulled. Besides, Marshall IRI does not issue any licenses for forex trading or brokerage nor does it regulate, monitor, supervise or license international companies engaging in such activities. More importantly, the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) and the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) both issued warning against IQcent for providing financial services without authorization. You can view full alerts or warnings against IQcent from CMVM and CNMV by clicking on the hyperlinks.We would recommend traders stay away from unregulated brokers like IQcent and trade with licensed brokers.
