U.S CFTC Adds Another 45 Unregistered Entities to its Registration Deficient List
On Monday, the U.S Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) added 45 unregistered entities to its Registration Deficient List (RED List).
The CFTC said the regulator has updated the RED List for nearly a decade to include entities that have the potential to cause financial harm to unsuspecting investors. Because trading with unregistered companies makes it difficult for investors to be protected, the CFTC strongly recommends that investors check the RED list before trading.
The list contains nearly 250 entities that are not registered with the CFTC but conduct businesses that must be registered with regulators before they can conduct business, such as Forex.
