Union Wise Financial Bank has also been falsely claiming CIRO registration by misusing CIRO’s logo. CIRO stressed that Union Wise Financial Bank has no connection to CIRO. Its use of CIRO’s logo to suggest registration or endorsement is unauthorized and misleading. Investors are strongly advised to avoid dealing with this firm.

The regulator urged investors to report any entity that falsely claims CIRO oversight or impersonates CIRO staff. Meanwhile, CIRO has been actively cracking down on these impostors.
