OANDA has appointed former IG Group executive Karolina Jasica as Global Compliance Officer, adding an experienced compliance professional to its leadership team amid management changes following FTMO's acquisition of the broker.
Based in Krakow, Poland, Jasica will report to Eva Svobodová, OANDA's Chief Legal Officer, who is based in Prague.
Jasica spent the past four years at IG Group as Head of Compliance Monitoring, Assurance and Regulated Complaints.
Before joining IG, she worked at State Street for approximately 15 years, holding various compliance-related positions in Ireland and Poland.
Her appointment brings experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory assurance and investment compliance to OANDA's global operations.
The appointment comes amid management changes at OANDA following its acquisition by Prague-based proprietary trading firm FTMO in December 2025.
In March 2026, FTMO co-founders Otakar Šuffner and Marek Vašíček assumed joint leadership of OANDA as Co-CEOs, succeeding Gavin Bambury.
The leadership changes form part of OANDA's post-acquisition management transition, with Jasica's appointment adding to its compliance leadership.
Jasica's departure also comes as IG Group undergoes organisational changes, including reported plans for substantial workforce reductions.
The broker has faced pressure following disappointing trading results and a sharp decline in its share price.
However, no direct connection has been established between these developments and Jasica's decision to join OANDA.
