Trade Nation to Acquire FXCM UK Client Book, Transfer Expected in November 2026

4시간 전 By Jane

Trade Nation has agreed to acquire the UK client book of Stratos Markets Limited, which operates under the FXCM and Tradu brands in the UK. The transaction, announced on October 6, 2026, is expected to be completed in late November.

The agreement will expand Trade Nation's UK customer base as the FCA-regulated broker strengthens its focus on spread betting and contracts for difference (CFDs).

FXCM UK Client Transfer Planned for November

Trade Nation and FXCM have developed a transition plan intended to maintain service continuity and protect clients throughout the transfer.

Trade Nation CEO Jon Noble welcomed the agreement, describing FXCM's experienced UK traders as a strong fit for the company's specialist brokerage model.

Stratos Group CEO Brendan Callan said the company's priority was finding a suitable destination for its UK clients, highlighting Trade Nation's trading platforms and service approach.

Both companies expect the transfer to be completed by late November 2026.

Acquisition Strengthens Trade Nation's UK Business

Founded in 2014, Trade Nation specialises in spread betting and CFD trading. The company has continued investing in its trading platforms, pricing structure and customer support throughout 2026.

The acquisition will bring FXCM's UK clients to Trade Nation and expand its presence in the domestic retail trading market.

Trade Nation is authorised by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority under FRN 525164, while Stratos Markets Limited operates under FRN 217689.

What the Transfer Means for FXCM Clients

The companies have emphasised continuity and client protection during the transition. However, the announced agreement does not mean that the transfer has already been completed.

FXCM UK clients can find information about the planned transition at Trade Nation's dedicated FXCM page.

Investor Reminder

Spread betting and CFDs involve substantial risks due to leverage. A brokerage transfer does not eliminate trading risks, and clients should review any changes to account terms, trading conditions and regulatory arrangements.
