Italy’s financial regulator Consob has ordered the blocking of six new websites linked to unauthorised financial or crypto-asset services, as part of its efforts to combat unauthorised financial activity.
The regulator said the sites involved unauthorised financial intermediation, an offering of financial products without a prospectus, and unauthorised crypto-asset services.
Consob listed the following websites:

Consob said the measures were based on powers under Italy’s “Growth Decree,” Law No. 8 of February 28, 2020, and the MiCAR framework, including EU regulations and Italian Legislative Decree No. 129/2024.
With the latest action, the total number of websites blocked by Consob since July 2019 has reached 1,822, including 235 websites related to crypto-asset activities.
Consob said the blocking process is being carried out by internet connectivity providers in Italy and may take several days for technical reasons.
For investors, the regulator recommends checking whether an operator is authorised before using financial or crypto-asset services, and verifying whether the required prospectus or white paper has been published.
