Ultima Markets was added to Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) Alert List on 25 September 2026, with its website classified under “Suspicious websites.”
The SFC identified Ultima Markets (Mauritius) Ltd, ultimamarkets.com, and the mobile applications Ultima Markets-Global Trading and Ultima Markets in its alert.
According to the regulator, investor funds deposited through the mobile apps for trading went directly into bank accounts with no apparent connection to Ultima Markets (Mauritius) Ltd. The SFC said the account holders also claimed no knowledge of or connection with the company.
The SFC stated that Ultima Markets (Mauritius) Ltd is not licensed or registered with the SFC for any regulated activity under Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Ordinance. It therefore cannot carry on regulated activities in Hong Kong or actively market regulated services to the Hong Kong public.
Ultima Markets’ website separately states that its Mauritius entity is regulated by the Mauritius FSC under licence GB 23201593. This does not constitute SFC authorisation in Hong Kong.
The SFC alert is a regulatory warning, not a court finding of fraud. Investors should verify both the legal entity handling their account and whether it is authorised to provide the relevant services in their jurisdiction.
