Malaysia SC Adds Block Mentrix and Velora Fund to Investor Alert List

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has updated its Investor Alert List as of September 1, 2026, adding two new entities. The SC stated that this list is not exhaustive and serves as a guide for investors before making investment decisions.

Two Entities Flagged for Illegal Investment Schemes

Block Mentrix (https://blockmentrixplatform.sbs/) and Velora Fund (https://www.velorafund.com/) were added to the alert list. Both were cited for operating illegal investment schemes offering high returns and carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities.

The SC regularly updates the list to warn the public against unauthorised websites, investment products, companies and individuals. Investors comparing a regulated investment platform or a licensed broker should always consult the SC’s official list.

What Investors Should Check

A website promising high returns with no regulatory authorisation is a red flag. Checking the legal status of the entity with local ’s financial regulator is essential before depositing funds or opening an account.
