Hong Kong SFC Flags Vebit, HKGEX and Suspicious Investment Websites

8 giờ trước By Mark

Hong Kong SFC warnings since 14 September 2026 have highlighted a suspicious virtual asset trading platform, a fake market operator and multiple suspicious websites.

SFC Flags Vebit and HKGEX

On 22 September, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) added Vebit to its list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms. The SFC said Vebit purports to offer digital asset spot, futures and futures copy trading through five websites, including vebit.io and matrixride.com, but is not licensed by the SFC and is suspected of conducting unlicensed activities.

On 18 September, the regulator listed HKGEX/Hong Kong Global Equity Exchange Centre Limited (hkgex.online) under fake regulators and/or market operators.

Suspicious and Impersonation Websites

The SFC also flagged aoshengam.com, linked to the names 盛維量研 and 盛維量研 Plus, on 18 September, while victorysec.pro, victorystr.top and mkintinv.com were added on 17 September.

Other recent suspicious websites include rosunsec.com/Rosun FIN, sunshineam.com, tigersecuritis.top, overlookinvest.com and www4.kufkki.cn. The SFC identifies several of these entries as falsely presenting themselves as, or being associated with, genuine licensed firms.

Investors Should Verify Regulatory Status

An SFC alert is a regulatory warning, not a court judgment. Investors should independently check a platform's legal entity, website and licensing status through official SFC records before transferring funds or providing personal information.
