FCA Warning List updates on September 17–18, 2026 added several firms that the UK regulator says are not authorised or registered to provide financial services in the UK, including Morizon Ltd, HUOWEALTH, GRIN AND GAIN ADVISORS and Athena Acquisition Corp.
The FCA added Morizon Ltd and HUOWEALTH on September 18. Both entries state that the firms are not authorised by the FCA and may be targeting people in the UK.
On September 17, the regulator also added GRIN AND GAIN ADVISORS, NovaTask and Athena Acquisition Corp. The FCA specifically identifies NovaTask as a clone of an FCA-registered firm.
The FCA also updated warnings for Rock Point Partners, Bluefield Investments and Coverfast / TempDrive. Coverfast / TempDrive is identified as a clone of an FCA-authorised firm.
The regulator warns that unauthorised firms may use false or misleading contact details, while clone firms can copy the identity or details of genuine authorised businesses. Investors should therefore check a firm's legal name, permissions and contact details rather than relying on a website or supplied contact information.
The FCA says consumers should use its Firm Checker to verify whether a financial firm is authorised and has permission for the service offered. It also notes that a firm not appearing on the Warning List may still be unauthorised, as names and contact details can change.
Investors should verify the relevant legal entity and regulatory status before transferring funds or using investment services. More broker and investment-risk updates are available on our website's broker-check and warning sections.
