FCA warnings issued or updated on September 14-16, 2026, flag five unauthorised entities, including two websites identified as clones of FCA-authorised firms. The latest entries cover smartpaynet.com, themoneycompass.net, www.thinkingmega.com, MA-Management/Mercer Advisor Management and capital-bltd.com/capital-bltd.net.
The FCA identified smartpaynet.com as a clone of MONEY COMPASS LIMITED, which has FCA Firm Reference Number 480594. The regulator said the website has no connection with the authorised firm.
themoneycompass.net was also identified as a clone of MONEY COMPASS LIMITED, while capital-bltd.com and capital-bltd.net were identified as clones of FCA-registered Capital-B Ltd, FRN 763815.
The FCA also added www.thinkingmega.com on September 16, saying it is not authorised and may be providing or promoting financial services or products without permission. MA-Management / Mercer Advisor Management / mmercera.info was updated on September 15.
The warnings highlight the importance of checking a firm's identity and regulatory permissions before using financial services. Investors should compare contact details with the FCA Firm Checker and avoid relying solely on information supplied by a website or representative.
