Former Pepperstone UK CEO Iain Rogers Joins OKX

OKX has appointed Iain Rogers as Head of Compliance for the EMEA region, bringing in a longtime retail FX and CFDs industry executive as the crypto exchange continues strengthening its regulatory and compliance infrastructure.

Rogers joins OKX after most recently serving as COO and Head of Digital Assets at Veax Labs, where he worked on operations and growth for a DeFi trading platform focused on decentralized swaps and perpetual futures products.

Prior to his move into digital assets, Rogers held several senior leadership positions across the CFD brokerage industry. He previously served as UK CEO of Pepperstone, CEO of Admirals UK, and CEO of Trivepro, formerly known as GKFX Prime. He also led Finveo before departing following the company’s decision to relinquish its FCA license.

In his new role, Rogers will oversee compliance operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, including regulatory strategy, AML oversight, and coordination with regional compliance teams.

Commenting on the appointment, Rogers said compliance should act as a “competitive advantage” rather than simply a regulatory obligation, adding that he was excited to help support OKX’s expansion across digital assets and next-generation financial products.
