LONDON – IG Group has seen the departure of another long‑serving senior executive, with Paul Stevens leaving the company after 17 years.
Stevens, who was based at IG’s London headquarters, most recently served as Head of Emerging Markets since 2020. In that role, he held full P&L responsibility for high‑growth emerging markets and South Africa.
Over his nearly two‑decade career at the online trading major, Stevens held a number of key leadership positions. He was Global Head of Client Performance, Head of Trading Services for EMEA, and Manager of Trading Services in the UK. He first joined IG in 2009 as a Sales Trader.
His exit adds to a growing list of mid‑ and senior‑level departures from IG Group in recent months.
Notable leavers include Mark Evans, Head of Corporate Development, who has since moved to GTN; Sam Irwin, Head of Client Management UK, who joined Crypto.com; Trading Director Adam Blemings; France head Ambroise Lion; Head of Singapore Sebastian Jones; and later IG Singapore CEO Gavin Chia.
IG Group has not yet announced a replacement for Stevens or commented on the wider leadership changes.
