However, our review found no matching record for LLA Markets in the FMA's licensed entities register. In addition, the FSP number 1012264 displayed on the broker's website could not be located in New Zealand's Financial Service Providers Register (FSP).
Using the disclosed NZBN 9429053559142, we identified an entity named LLA GLOBAL MARKETS LIMITED, registered under FSP No. 1012246, which differs from the information published on the broker's website. More importantly, we found no record of this entity holding an FMA derivatives issuer licence.
Investors should note that FSP registration does not constitute FMA regulation. Firms offering forex and CFD products in New Zealand are generally expected to hold the appropriate FMA derivatives licence.
