ANSWER Dear Investor, We’ve verified that ModMount is licensed by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA). However, the Seychelles FSA is an offshore regulator with lighter oversight and limited investor protections when measured against major authorities. ModMount also claims affiliation with Peaksight Ltd, a CySEC-regulated entity, but CySEC’s register shows no link between Peaksight and the ModMount platform, which casts doubt on this assertion. Moreover, ModMount has been flagged by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) for carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities. Given these concerns, we cannot regard ModMount as a fully reliable and safe broker. We advise caution and thorough due diligence before any engagement.
